Kotor, Montenegro. Adriatic Biodiversity Conservation Center “Boka Aquarium” is just marked with brand new signboards in front of the main entrance. Those signboards are marking projects and donors which made possible setting up the aquarium:

  • Project Marine Biodiversity Conservation Center “Boka Aquarium” – MonteAqua, started at 30th November 2017, with a total budget of 1.175.333,81 EUR, out of which the Norwegian grant secured 753.673,81 EUR. The project is ending on 31st December 2020. More info is available on the project web page.

  • Project Equipment for the Marine Biodiversity Conservation Center “Boka Aquarium” – MonteAqua, started on 1st April 2019 and finished on 21st April 2020, funded through the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro grant from the World Bank loan for the implementation of the Second Project of Institutional Development and Strengthening of Agriculture (MIDAS 2), in the amount of 369.066,69 EUR

  • Project Marine Biodiversity Conservation Center “Boka Aquarium” – Open Air Exhibition, started on 4th December 2019 and finished on 10th September 2020, co-financed from the Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management of Montenegro in the amount of 80.000 EUR
